ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2026

ABOUT THE EVENT
We are pleased to announce that our third Annual Sports Day will take place this April. Our event is a unique experience for individuals who are neuro-diverse. Since they often don't get to experience some of the sports and activities due to their limitations, we decided to create an event featuring adaptive and modified sports and activities. Read all about our 2024 event below, and what you can expect!
Date: Sunday, April 26
Time: 9:00 AM – 12 PM
Location: Cordova High School — Track & Field
2239 Chase Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670
Track and Field Activities like:

100m Dash (Ages 5–14)
-
200m Dash (Ages 15+)
-
Beanbag Games (Ages 5–14)
-
Adaptive Javelin Throw (Ages 15+)

Obstacle Course (Ages 5+)
Important Instructions

Players will be separated into two age groups:
-
Group A: Ages 5–14
-
Group B: Ages 15+

Activities will happen simultaneously for both groups in two different areas.

Parent/caregiver presence is required throughout the event.
If you have more than one child participating, especially if they are in different groups, please make arrangements so each child has appropriate supervision. -
Each player will be matched with a peer buddy/companion to assist and accompany them during activities.

Water will be provided to all players.

Snacks: Due to varying dietary needs, snacks will not be provided. Please bring snacks as needed.

Awards will be presented at the end of the event:

Medals for all participants

Trophies for Winner and Runner-Up (per game /group)

Registration Deadline for PLAYERS

or earlier once we reach the maximum of 60 participants.
individuals who are ages 5 and ABOVE and are NEURO - DIVERSE, can register as a PLAYER for this event! We will have track & field activities. Please ensure that you bring water and a snack, and a chair for seating (if needed) with you!
1 to 1 volunteer buddy will be assigned if requested based on availability and requirements!

REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER
If you are caring, and passionate about helping individuals with disabilities gain access to extra curricular activities, then our annual sports day is a perfect opportunity for you to become a part of our team. Anyone above the age of 12 can sign up as a volunteer!
Expect to perform activities such as helping set up and run games and activities, get paired to a participant and assist them during the event, help out with award distribution and much more!
