About the Event
This event is meant for individuals with disabilities and their families to gather together and take a walk around the community park to get some exercise and healthy social activity. Every week will feature a new park!Â
The Walk will last for a total of 40 minutes. They will take place on Saturdays from 9 AM - 10 AM. All of the parks will be located in the Greater Sacramento Area to make it easy for parents to access. Here is how a walk will go:
First 10 minutes - Greetings and stretches/warm ups
Next 45 minutes - Walk in a group while maintaining social distancing rules
Last 5 minutes - Cooling off and saying goodbye
Venues will be communicated at least 3-4 days prior to the event to make sure families can plan their day!Â
