WeEMBRACE has helped the development of differently-abled kids by providing a vast number of classes for different topics including but not limited to Arts and Crafts, Music and Dance, Social groups games, Fitness and more. It is an enriching experience to be part of the organization as a parent of a 17 year old. What adds to the overall experience is the platform provided by the Talent show to showcase the kids newly learned or honed skills.The talent show is very well produced and organized down to the last detail. My son loved performing in the show and he loved getting the certificate of appreciation even more!

WeEMBRACE has given our daughter a great opportunity to be social, communicate better and be part of our amazing community - with their  in person classes and now virtually. These virtual classes have been very crucial for my daughter to be engaged in fun , creative activities and they also helped her attend her online school better.  Embrace volunteer instructors are great with not only teaching the skills, they are very patient, understanding and teach all kinds of skilled participants.  THANK YOU WeEMBRACE and team for keeping us mentally and physically healthy during these impossible times.

My highly active son was at a loss when all his activities therapy and school got cancelled in March when the pandemic hit. The programs started by WeEMBRACE at the time came as a blessing for us. Over the months not only did my son keep active he flourished and learnt new skills. The dance, fitness, cooking,singing ,art ,social skills and drama classes offer a unique platform for our kids to explore a variety of activities from the relative safety and comfort of their own homes .They also accord our kids a chance to build new friendships across the United States and also meaningful interactions with volunteers in the buddy match program. The embrace stars program highlights their talents and all their progress in the various classes. I am so grateful to Meena , board members as well as our wonderful volunteers and instructors for their dedication and hard work in building these programs for our kids

Our daughters both Samidha & Nabha ( Shastry Sisters)enjoyed presenting their talents show not only individually but together. We entire family enjoyed talents & skills of all the Embrace Stars on the Show from different parts of the world. The performances of all participants were jaw dropping which created a happiness in the eyes of WeEMBRACE families. Although, this Star Show was virtual but it was also a great opportunity for the co- hosts ,who were the feathers on the cap of this show, presented with super confidence, and beautiful expressions. Last but not least, it was also a great team effort by Mrs.Meena Kalayanasundaram & the entire WeEMBRACE Team, who were the backbone of this show.Their perseverance, coordination, organization,follow ups for the groundwork gave this Embrace Star Season 1 a big blockbuster success.

I have a 10y old child with special needs. He has poor muscle tone and writing, drawing, using scissors is hard. He thinks these activities to be tough and never thinks them as having fun. This changed after we attended holiday craft and art classes. Though, we could not attend all the classes as our therapies were clashing with timings and him falling sick. He started feeling comfortable to try and have fun. Now, though drawing with pencil is still tough, his scissor skills improved. His love towards art snd craft grew. I thank the child who taught the crafts and drawing and her mom. I wish, we could continue, but couldn’t due to the time clashes with other classes and bedtime. Hopefully, we will be able to join again.

After holidays, we signed up for buddy match program. We have a buddy from CA. She is new to this program but really tries to make it work. She is do patient, waits for him to respond, learns quickly, from what i am doing to get my child’s attention or wait time i give him. I can say that she is kind and always ready to co-operate and accommodate to changes or requests. I really applaud her not only for her initiation to join this program but doing it whole heartedly(which is visible in a person’s behavior or actions not what they put show on face).

I have also noticed that classes are being offered for parents. That is a really awesome idea. Parents have a tendency to forget about themselves. Maybe due to the stress, or all the classes we run to or because we forget ghat we are separate individuals from our children. Thanks for starting the classes.

I am really happy that ‘WeEMBRACE’ started virtual classes, do that we, non-residents of CA can benefit too. Thank you very much. I hope you guys keep the virtual classes open after the pandemic.
I would really like to thank , ‘WeEMBRACE’ organization, the kids that volunteer themselves and their parents too. Seeing such selfless and kind individuals and their parents guiding them to be empathetic, gives us hope for a better worldc, in future for our kids.
I would recommend more parents to try these classes for their kids.

This program is truly a blessing during these trying times of pandemic. Thanks to Meena, her family and each and every volunteer for creating this opportunity for our kids. My daughter has been attending many programs and has been thoroughly enjoying every session she attends. The teachers are very patient, kind and helpful. Thanks to their time amidst their busy schedule. This is not easy but they do it regardless, week after week so effortlessly, bringing so many kids together. Thank you is a very small word to express our gratitude. Wishing WeEMBRACE the best for all your current and future programs.

It is an wonderful and awesome organization that is helping kids with different abilities reach their highest potential and their programs are currently structured to include participants across the world. The variety of inclusive programs is quite vast and the volunteers who run these programs are very dedicated and very much hands on.

I am proud to be part of the wonderful community, WeEMBRACE. My daughter looked forward to the zoom classes everyday. She was elated and announced that she is going to be a Facebook star by performing at the talent show. It is a safe space for all, kids and parents alike. Kudos and gratitudes to all the volunteers and organisers that work behind the screen to bring this experience to everyone. Eagerly looking forward to the next season.

My son and I really enjoy these zoom classes. Initially when schools were closed and everything was closed we relied on these classes to give Sidd the stimulus he needed. He particularly liked the Yoga classes and the cooking classes. His week is not complete till he cooks a new dish with the group.
